Want to give a hand
Every contribution is never too small. Join us in our mission to educate and empower young people in Hong Kong to look after their mental health.
Our community was built on the efforts and dedication of students who shared their experiences and spoke up on what support they needed from their society. Together, they collaborated to shape the resources and content you see on this website today. We invite you to become a part of Coolminds too, and hope that you will join us in our mission to spread awareness, advocate and show support for youth mental health
There are many ways you can get involved. Coolminds is an initiative that is truly by students, for students. We are always looking for volunteers (students and adults) to support the various projects we have. There are some opportunities listed below to get involved in at present, and please do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com to learn more. We look forward to hearing from and working with you.
Volunteer With Us
Social media graphic designers
We are looking for students (Secondary or University) to help create and drive our social media platforms. We want our brand to be for youth, by youth. Do you have experience in graphic design, illustration and/or using Canva? If you are interested in volunteering to draft post designs and work with our social media content creators, email firstname.lastname@example.org along with your past graphics work on social media and any specific qualifications we should know about.
Social media content creators
We are also looking for students (Secondary or University) to help create content (text) for our social media platforms. If you are interested in volunteering for this and work closely with our social media graphic designers, email email@example.com along with your past work on social media (text/ your own social media account) and any specific qualifications we should know about.
Blog and story writers
Writing for our blog and/or sharing your own personal story are great ways to get involved with Coolminds and raise awareness of mental health. To learn how to write a blog (on any mental health or mental well-being related topic), please click here. To learn about sharing your own story, please click here. Should you have any questions about the process, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are looking for volunteers to help with Chinese-English and English-Chinese translation to ensure that our website can be offered bilingually. Volunteers with Chinese secondary form five level are preferred. If you would like to volunteer as a translator, or learn more, please email email@example.com and make note of any specific qualifications we should know about.
Your fundraising efforts will go directly to supporting our programmes and events. Thanks to your contributions, we are able to reach hundreds of young people in Hong Kong to deliver anti-stigma campaigns, informative resources, education and training. You are welcome to fundraise for Coolminds HK via Simply Giving. Should you wish to learn more, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
